Rocío Cerón

(Ciudad de México, 1972) 

Poeta, artista y performer. Ha lanzado los álbumes de poesía sonora Speculari (2024), Miiuni (España, 2022) y Sonic Bubbles (México, 2020). Ha publicado los libros de poesía Divisible corpóreo (México, 2022), Simultáneosucesivo (México 2024; España, 2022), Spectio (México, 2019), Observante (España, Argentina, ambas ediciones 2020), Materia oscura (2018), Borealis (FCE México, 2016), Nudo vortex (México y Nueva York, ambas ediciones 2015), Diorama (2012) y Basalto (2022), entre otros. Diorama fue traducido por Anna Rosenwong y ganó el Best Translated Book Award 2015, otorgado por la Universidad de Rochester (Estados Unidos). También ha sido galardonada con el Premio Nacional de Literatura Gilberto Owen 2000 en poesía (México) y el Premio See America Travel Award 2005 (Estados Unidos). Sus poemas han sido traducidos al inglés y a diversos idiomas europeos. 
En 2021 fue una de las 25 artistas seleccionadas para la Bienal de Fotografía del Centro de la Imagen en México con el videopoema Potenciales Evocados. En 2022 recibió la Residencia Córdoba-Ciudad de las Ideas de la Fundación Artdecor-Ayuntamiento de Córdoba (España), la del Centro de Investigación, Innovación y Desarrollo de las Artes (Monterrey, México) y la Residencia Artística del Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC)-Región Centro Sur para desarrollar poesía sonora y performática para intervención en espacios públicos. En 2023 recibió la Michael Rothenberg International Poets Grant. Desde 2010 forma parte del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte de México (SNCA). Anna Gual

Anna Gual is a poet and the author of eight poetry collections: Implosions (2008), L’ésser solar (2013), Símbol 47 (2015), Molsa (2016), El tubercle (2016), Altres semideus (2019), Ameba (2020) and Les ocultacions (2022). In 2025 she published the anthology Jo tinc una mort petita, a selection of poems about the grief of losing a child. Her many accolades include the Pare Colom, Bernat Vidal i Tomàs, Senyoriu Ausiàs March, Rosa Leveroni and Miquel de Palol awards. Gual’s work has been translated into French, Italian and Spanish, and her poems have appeared in international magazines such as Poetry Magazine, Harvard Review and Modern Poetry in Translation. Most recently, the Spanish translation of Les ocultacions (Las ocultaciones) was published by Vaso Roto in 2025. She has participated in festivals and residencies in various European countries. Her poetry explores themes such as nature, the body and spirituality. Some of her poems have been put to music by artists and groups including OMAC and Judit Nedderman. She has also collaborated with the Palau de la Música Catalana and runs various shows that combine poetry with music.

Juana Dolores

Juana Dolores is an actor, playwright, director and video artist. Her true vocation, however, is writing – the common thread running through all her work – which is rooted in a constant dialogue between politics and aesthetics.
She has published Bijuteria (Costume Jewellery) (Amadeu Oller Prize) and i si una nació desfilant per una catifa vermella (What If a Nation Parading on a Red Carpet). 
In the field of audiovisuals, she conceived and created Limpieza (Cleaning), a pamphlet against the exploitation and discrimination of domestic and cleaning workers, and Miss Universo (Miss Universe), an interview with a beauty queen reflecting on labour, violence and love through Georges Bataille’s concept of eroticism. 
She has written, directed and performed Juana Dolores, demasiado diva para un movimiento asambleario (Juana Dolores: Too Diva for an Assembly Movement), the tantrum of a working-class girl lip-syncing
in front of her parents’ mirror, and HIT ME IF I’M PRETTY o la princesa moderna (HIT ME IF I’M PRETTY Or The Modern Princess), a feminine and sexualised reinterpretation of Machiavelli’s The Prince and Gramsci’s The Modern Prince.
Her latest stage work, Qui diu foc, diu flama – oda, intermedi, elegia (Whoever Says Fire, Says Flame – Ode, Interlude, Elegy), based on Brossa’s work, 
launches a series of performances titled Altres versions (Other Versions), which reimagine the work of artists such as Antoni Tàpies, Joan Miró and Frida Kahlo.
Her current practice focuses on research and experimentation around the imagination of revolution, exploring the agitational and propagandistic potential of art, alongside the historical-artistic study of revolutionary tradition, femininity, sexuality, desire, eroticism and pornography.

Sandra Cisneros

(Chicago, 1954)

Es poeta, cuentista, novelista, ensayista, performer y artista, cuyo trabajo explora las vidas de la clase trabajadora. Entre sus numerosos premios se incluyen becas de la NEA en poesía y ficción, la Medalla de las Artes de Texas, una beca MacArthur, varios doctorados honoris causa y premios literarios nacionales e internacionales, como el Chicago’s Fifth Star Award, el Premio Literario del Centro PEN de EU, el Premio Fairfax y la Medalla Nacional de las Artes. Recientemente recibió la beca Art of Change de la Fundación Ford, fue reconocida entre los Frederick Douglas 200, ganó el Premio PEN/Nabokov de literatura internacional, un Premio de Poesía Ruth Lilly de la Fundación de Poesía y el Premio al Logro Distinguido Embajador Richard C. Holbrooke de la Fundación del Premio Literario de la Paz de Dayton. 

Su novela clásica sobre el paso de la infancia a la adultez, La casa en Mango Street, ha vendido más de siete millones de copias, ha sido traducida a más de veinticinco idiomas y es lectura obligatoria en escuelas primarias, secundarias y universidades de todo el país.

Además de su obra literaria, Cisneros ha impulsado las carreras de numerosos escritores aspirantes y emergentes mediante dos organizaciones sin fines de lucro que fundó: la Fundación Macondo, que celebró su 25º aniversario en 2020, y la Fundación Alfredo Cisneros del Moral, que funcionó durante quince años. También es la organizadora de Los MacArturos, becarios latinos MacArthur que son activistas en la comunidad. Sus escritos literarios se conservan en Texas, en las Colecciones Wittliff de la Universidad Estatal de Texas.

Sandra Cisneros cuenta con doble nacionalidad, de Estados Unidos y México, y se gana la vida mediante la pluma. Como mujer soltera, ella elige tener libros en lugar de hijos. Actualmente vive en San Miguel de Allende, México. Woman Without Shame, su primera colección de poesía en 28 años, fue publicada en 2022 por Knopf y por Vintage Español bajo el título Mujer sin vergüenza, traducida por Liliana Valenzuela.
En 2024, La casa en Mango Street fue publicada en la colección de clásicos contemporáneos de Everyman’s Library.

María Lado

(Spain, 1979) 

She is a Galician writer who stands out as a poet, although she has also published novels, children's and youth literature and theater. During her adolescence, she was part of the Literary Battalion of the Costa da Morte, where she began to recite and publish, participating in several titles of the collective. 

As a poet, she has published A primeira vision (1997), casa atlántica, casa cabaret  (2002), berlín (2005), Nove (2008), Amantes (2011), boso, mamá, si? (2015) and Gramo Stendhal (2020). 

Her interest in acting and orality have led her to experiment in stage poetry through different projects with which she has been touring the most diverse stages for more than 20 years. She currently combines writing with cultural management.
