History is told, questioned and written. In this encounter, the author of A donde te lleve el viento, Ana Lilia Cepeda, and the author of the series The Myths That Traumatized Us, Juan Miguel Zunzunegui, will talk about the ways —sometimes erased, sometimes reinvented— with which Mexico reconstructs its past. Through the critical gaze of both authors, the links between memory, identity and territory will be explored, as well as the narratives that shape our vision of the present.
The conversation will be moderated by Sara Poot-Herrera, who will guide this meeting towards a reflection on how history is reconstructed, reinterpreted and lived, and to transition between the rigor of historical data and the creative freedom of each of the authors.
