Gerard Bellver

Born in Barcelona, Gerard Bellver moved to Mexico in 1995, where he lived for 28 years.
He trained at prestigious restaurants such as Tezka, Arzak and El Bulli.
He has served as head chef at the Spanish Embassy in Mexico and at Biko, a leading name in Latin American gastronomy.
In 2023, the chef returned to Barcelona to open his own restaurant, Jiribilla. At Jiribilla, he blends the best of Catalan and Mexican culinary traditions using high-quality ingredients and innovative techniques.
