Luis Miguel Estrada

Luego de estudiar y trabajar como Contador Público, se convenció de que lo que más contaba para él (y lo que él contaba mejor) eran las historias, la literatura. Ha trabajado como profesor y tallerista en México y Estados Unidos. Sus libros de cuento han sido reconocidos con el Premio Nacional Juan José Arreola, el Premio Nacional Agustín Yáñez, el Premio de Literatura Gilberto Owen. Como es fan del box, publicó El último argumento del Rey (FCE, 2024).

Erika Zepeda

Además de armar rompecabezas y escribir historias para niños y jóvenes, Erika adora las historias de terror (en formato de libro, película, serie o videojuego). Si hay un monstruo aterrador con tentáculos y poderes intergalácticos, mejor; y si además hay zombis come cerebros, mucho mejor.

Erika vive actualmente en la ciudad de Guadalajara, desde donde observa el mundo y espera con impaciencia la llegada de los marcianos, el destape de los reptilianos o, tal vez, el despertar de Cthulhu.

Jorge Luján

(Córdoba, Argentina)

Ganador del XXI Premio Iberoamericano SM de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil.
Se licenció en letras hispánicas en la UNAM con mención honorífica y como arquitecto en la Universidad de Córdoba, Argentina, donde también estudió composición musical y cinematografía. Ganó una beca Fullbright para estudiar artes plásticas y escenografía en Antioch College. Es autor de 50 libros, incluyendo poesía, novela, metodología creativa y álbumes ilustrados. Ha sido traducido a 18 idiomas, incluido el maya. Ha impartido cursos en Columbia University y diversas instituciones de EUA, Europa y Latinoamérica. Sus libros han recibido premios del New York Times, el Banco del Libro, The International Latino Book Awards, White Ravens, Die Zeit, Andersen, IBBY y el Ministerio de Educación de Francia, entre otros.

Ana María Falú

Como profesora emérita de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, exdirectora de INHAB –Instituto de Investigación de Vivienda y Hábitat–, y exdirectora regional de ONU Mujeres para América Latina, Falú ha liderado investigaciones, proyectos y programas que han sido referentes en la región y a nivel
internacional. Entre ellos destacan el programa “Ciudades sin Violencia hacia las Mujeres, Ciudades Seguras para Todos”, que colocó en la agenda urbana la relación entre violencia de género y espacio público, así como sus aportes al diseño de políticas de vivienda y hábitat con enfoque inclusivo.
Es autora de numerosas publicaciones, entre las que
sobresalen Mujeres en la ciudad. De violencias y derechos y Ciudades para convivir: sin violencias
hacia las mujeres, textos fundamentales en los estudios urbanos con perspectiva de género. Su labor ha sido reconocida con distinciones internacionales, entre ellas el Premio Trayectoria Académica de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (2022) y el Premio Global de ONU Hábitat por la
Igualdad de Género (2017), consolidando su papel como referente mundial en la intersección entre urbanismo, género y derechos humanos.

Alejandro Miravete

(Ciudad de México, 1996) es docente, investigador, traductor y poeta. Fue miembro de los extintos Seminario de Literatura Lésbica-Gay y Seminario Interdisciplinario de Estudios Cuir en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNAM. Autor de Tablero de diamantes (2024) y de El camino que nos antecede: 25 poetas gay negros (2025), ambos publicados por Editorial Niño Down, forma parte del colectivo Novísimxs de poetas LGBT.

Rodolfo Naró

Nació en Tequila, Jalisco, en 1967. Ha sido becario del Fonca en la disciplina de novela. Su obra poética está reunida en Los días inútiles (1985-1995), Lo que dejó tu adiós (1995-2005) y Elegir el fuego (2005-2015). Como novelista es autor de El orden infinito, finalista del Premio Planeta Argentina 2006 y considerada una de las mejores novelas del 2007 por la revista Gatopardo; Cállate niña y de la serie juvenil Desigual, integrada por las novelas Un corazón para Eva y su continuación Una eternidad para Eva.

Rafael Tovar López-Portillo

Rafael Tovar y López Portillo es un orgulloso mexicano, amante de la historia y rector de la Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. Cursó la licenciatura en ciencias políticas, la maestría en historia, enfocándose en el México de los siglos XIX y XX, y el doctorado en filosofía política en la Universidad de San Diego California, especializándose en el papel de las mujeres en la política mexicana. Es miembro fundador de la Fundación Rafael Tovar y de Teresa y miembro del consejo directivo de la Fundación María Félix, así cómo miembro del patronato del Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso y de la Fundación Muró. Es autor del libro Las mujeres en la política mexicana: una revisión histórica y ha participado en conferencias sobre equidad de género, la importancia de la mujer en la política, el patrimonio nacional e historia de México, entre otros temas.

Alberto Ruy Sánchez

Alberto Ruy Sánchez (Ciudad de México 1951) ha publicado una veintena de títulos, entre ellos los ensayos Elogio del insomnio, Con la literatura en el cuerpo y Una introducción a Octavio Paz, los poemas de Decir es desear y El bosque erotizado. Y el ciclo de libros experimentales sobre el deseo, Quinteto de Mogador, donde confluyen poesía y ensayo en relatos novelescos y documentales. Su obra ha sido traducida a una docena de lenguas y ha recibido más de veinte premios nacionales e internacionales en San Petersburgo, Montauban, Chicago, Louisville y Zaragoza, entre otros.

Marisol Schulz Manaut

Marisol Schulz Manaut is an editor, commentator, speaker, cultural journalist, and expert in the literary and publishing world. She has received multiple recognitions for her work promoting reading and advocating for the future of books and the Spanish language.

For the past twelve years, she has served as the director of the Guadalajara International Book Fair, considered the most important Spanish-language book fair and one of the most significant in the world. Under her leadership, FIL Guadalajara has received several awards, including the prestigious Princess of Asturias Award in the area of Communication and Humanities, shared with the Hay Festival; the Order of Rio Branco from Brazil; and recently, the Sor Juana Medal, a recognition granted by the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in Mexico.

She also directs the Los Angeles Spanish Language Book Fair and Literary Festival, an ambitious program aimed at promoting books and reading in Spanish in the United States, founded in 2011.

For over four decades, Marisol Schulz has focused on the book and reading sector, leading editorial areas in various public and private organizations, such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Center for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS). She was the editorial director at Plaza y Janés Mexico and spent 17 years at Grupo Santillana, first as executive editor and later as director of the Taurus and Alfaguara imprints in Mexico. She was responsible for the edition of major Ibero-American writers such as Carlos Fuentes, Mario Vargas Llosa, José Saramago, Arturo Pérez Reverte, Elena Poniatowska, Augusto Monterroso, Sergio Ramírez, Carmen Boullosa, Alberto Ruy Sánchez, and Xavier Velasco, among others.

In 2013, the Mexican edition of Forbes recognized her as one of the 50 most powerful women in Mexico. In 2016 and 2020, the magazine Quién named her one of the "50 people who move Mexico." In 2021, she received the National Juan Pablos Award for Editorial Merit, a recognition granted annually by the Mexican Chamber of the Publishing Industry (Cámara Nacional de la Industria Editorial Mexicana).

Karla Planter Pérez

Licenciada en estudios políticos y gobierno por la Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG), posee la maestría en estudios políticos y sociales y es candidata al doctorado por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Ha sido locutora, reportera, editora, redactora y conductora del noticiero matutino de Medios UdeG y en la sección de cultura del periódico Siglo 21. Es investigadora titular C, y docente en las licenciaturas en estudios políticos, sociología, relaciones internacionales, así como en la maestría en ciencia política de la UdeG. Actualmente es la Rectora General de la Universidad de Guadalajara.

Juan Carlos Flores Miramontes

He is currently working, since 2018, as Secretary of Public Education of the State of Jalisco. He has a degree in physics from the University of Guadalajara; graduated from the pedagogy career from the Pan American University, he has an MBA from the Pan American Institute of Senior Business management and a diploma in management of educational centers from the Institute of Management of Educational Centers of the ICAMI. For more than two decades he has worked as a teacher, he has been a committed official, a determined promoter of STEAM education; in addition, he is a proud father of a family.e

Luciany Aparecida

(Brazil, 1982)

She was born in Bahia, in Vale do Jiquiriçá. She is a professor, researcher, writer of novels, short stories, dramatizations and poems, as well as a doctor of literature from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). In the field of literary criticism, the author's studies deal with literary theory, contemporary literature, the interface between history, memory, ancestry, afro-diaspora, immigration, nation and performances.
She is the author of Mata Doce, winning novel of the São Paulo Literature Prize 2024, finalist of the Jabuti Prize and semifinalist of the Oceans Prize 2024. She also wrote Macala and Joanna Mina. She has published short stories and novellas under the pseudonym Ruth Ducaso.

Eliane Marques

(Brazil, 1970)

Eliane Marques, born on the border between Brazil and Uruguay, is a novelist, poet, translator and psychoanalyst. She has published Louças de familia, her first novel (Autêntica Contemporânea), São Paulo Literature Prize 2023; or poço das marianas (2022 Minuano Prize for Literature); and se alguém o pano  (Açorians Prize for Literature 2016), Relicário, and the translations Pregão de Marimorena and Cabeças de Ifé (2022 AGES Award).  In March 2025 she released the poetry book Sílex by the Editorial Fósforo - Círculo de Poemas. She is currently working on her new novel, Guanxuma, to be released in 2026 by the publishing house Autêntica Contemporânea. For many years he coordinated the Publishing house Escola de Poesia Amefricana and the Orisun Oro label, aimed at the translation and publication of books by Amefrican poets. She has poems published in American magazines The Common (No. 20) and Prairie Schooner (volume 95), in the Cuban magazine Casa de las Américas and in the Brazilian magazines Cult and Piauí, among others. She was a columnist for the newspaper Zero Hora, an important information vehicle of the south of Brazil. She graduated in pedagogy and law and holds a master's degree in public law, specializing in “Constitution, Politics and Economics”, in addition to working as an External Control Auditor of the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

I hold a PhD and a master's degree in Communication Sciences, as well as a bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP). My academic training is complemented by university extension studies in teaching from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), and with specializations in educational technology, hybrid teaching, and pedagogical innovation from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).
I currently hold the presidency of the Board of Directors of SP Leituras - Paulista Association of Libraries and Reading.

Francisco López Serrano

Francisco López Serrano (Épila, Zaragoza, 1960). Ha publicado novelas, libros de relatos y poesía, así como traducciones, lo que le ha valido obtener numerosos premios, entre los que destacan el Setenil al mejor libro de cuentos publicado en España, en 2009; el Ignacio Aldecoa, el Gabriel Aresti, el Generación del 27, el Manuel Llano y el Ciudad de Alcalá de Narrativa. También ha sido finalista del Premio Hispanoamericano de Cuento Gabriel García Márquez. Actualmente colabora en revistas literarias y periódicos como Clarín, Turia o Heraldo de Aragón. 

Laura Emilia Pacheco

Nació en la Ciudad de México. Escritora, traductora literaria y editora, entre sus títulos está El último mundo, aproximaciones al límite de la experiencia. Ha traducido a Virginia Woolf, Raymond Carver, George Steiner y Alma Guillermoprieto, entre muchos otros. Es autora de dos antologías: El infinito naufragio, sobre la obra de José Emilio Pacheco, y Mar de historias, recopilación de textos literarios de Cristina Pacheco. También del libro infantil A mares llueve sobre el mar, biografía de José Emilio Pacheco. Actualmente traduce un libro de Alma Guillermoprieto sobre América Latina. Vive en la Ciudad de México con su esposo, dos perros y dos gatos.

Gabi Martínez

Escritor, guionista y periodista. Considerado uno de los renovadores de la literatura de viajes en el Estado español, su trayectoria como escritor también lo ha vinculado a la literNatura. Es uno de los impulsores de Liternatura, un festival que invita a repensar la relación entre personas, creación y naturaleza. Su mirada sobre nuestra relación con la naturaleza queda patente en obras como Un cambio de verdad (Seix Barral, 2020), una crónica sobre la experiencia radical de una vida rural que se resiste a ser borrada por la expansión urbana, o en el libro ilustrado Animales invisibles. Mito, vida y extinción (Nórdica Libros y Capitán Swing, 2021), en el que, en colaboración con Jordi Serrallonga, explora cómo el mundo salvaje continúa estimulando el imaginario y la realidad de la humanidad en todo el planeta. Recientemente ha publicado Delta (Seix Barral, 2023) obra en la que nos describe la vibrante diversidad y las culturas locales de un ecosistema tensionado y en peligro de extinción.

Mónica Lavín

Mónica Lavín es autora de libros de cuentos, novela y ensayo. Ha sido Premio Nacional de Literatura Gilberto Owen por el libro de cuentos Ruby Tuesday no ha muerto, Premio Narrativa de Colima por su novela Café cortado, Premio Iberoamericano de Novela Elena Poniatowska por Yo, la peor, sobre Sor Juana y su tiempo. Sus publicaciones más recientes son: la antología de cuentos ¿A qué volver? (Tusquets, 2018), las novelas Todo sobre nosotras (Planeta, 2019) y Últimos días de mis padres (Planeta, 2022). Escribió el libreto para una ópera sobre Sor Juana: La sed de los cometas, que se estrenó en septiembre de 2022. Es columnista en la sección cultural de El Universal, profesora e investigadora en la Academia de Creación Literaria de la Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México, Maestra Universitaria Distinguida por la Universidad de Colima y miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores.

Claudia Cabrera Espinosa

Escritora, investigadora y docente, es doctora en letras por la UNAM y forma parte de El Colegio de México. Ganó el Premio de Literatura y Naturaleza José Emilio Pacheco 2019 y forma parte del Jurado de este mismo premio en 2025.
