Norma Angelica Corado-Nava is a biologist with a doctorate in science, and a specialty in museum project management from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Since 2006 she has been dedicated to the Public Communication of Science in different media, such as radio, television, and especially in museums. She has made more than 20 science exhibitions for Universum at the UNAM. She gives multiple lectures aimed mainly at secondary and high-school level youth on conjunctural science topics. She is a scientific diving instructor with more than 30 years of experience training different generations of people dedicated to the study and conservation of the oceans. She has been awarded the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Prize awarded by the UNAM, in 2021.
