In 1994, his book Ludovicos o la aristocracia del universo (University Press, 1995) won the Poetry Prize Revista de Libros, awarded by the newspaper El Mercurio in Santiago de Chile. Throughout his literary career he has published the books of poetry: Espejo de enemigos (Uqbar Editores, 2010), 2323 Stratford Ave. (Uqbar Editores, 2012) and La vida doméstica (Editorial Cuarto Propio, 2016), the latter winner of the Academia Prize, given by the Chilean Academy of Language to the best book of the year. His book of poetry Olivia en los suburbios (2020) was published in Spain by the publishing house Valparaíso Ediciones. In 2024 he published Midori & 18-O with the Chilean publishing house Cuarto Propio and an anthology of poetry titled Poesía Selecta, with the Venezuelan publishing house La Castalia.
