Jumko Ogata

Escritora, traductora y divulgadora del antirracismo. Originaria de Veracruz, es licenciada en Estudios Latinoamericanos por la UNAM. Ha sido publicada en la Revista de la Universidad, ha participado en la antología Tsunami 2 (Sexto Piso, 2020), así como en la colección Hijas de América Latina (HarperCollins, 2023) y Cabezas en la ventana. Antología de terror latinoamericano (Elefanta, 2024). Es autora de Mi pelo chino, un libro infantil bilingüe en español y mixteco con ilustraciones de Rey Pelcastre (Almadía, 2022). Es traductora de Hermanas del ñame. Mujeres negras y nuestra recuperación de bell hooks (U-tópicas Ediciones, 2024), así como de Experimentos en alegría (Co—Conspirator Press e Impresos México, 2023). Ha impartido talleres sobre antirracismo para Meta, Google, la Secretaría de Cultura y distintas organizaciones sin fines de lucro en México y Estados Unidos.

Brenda Ríos

 Writer. She teaches creative writing workshops in different spaces of the country. 
She is a member of the National System of Creators 2024-2027. 
Among her most recent books is Ensayo 4, compilation and prologue, Direction of Literature, UNAM, 2024 (dissemination). She has been published in Brazil, Colombia, Spain. Cubo de Rubik (Camelot America, 2018) and Olvidar a nadie (Ediciones Periféricas, 2022) together with Mercedes Álvarez, are her chronicle books. Her essay books: Hombres de verdad and Raras ensayos sobre el amor, lo femenino, la voluntad creadora, were included in various lists of the best books in their respective years of appearance in different national media. She was ed for the writing residency at Casa Estudio Cien Años de Soledad, in 2023.

Carlos Martín Briceño

Es cuentista, novelista, cronista y ensayista, nació en Mérida y ha sido ganador de numerosos premios entre los que sobresalen el Internacional de Cuentos Max Aub 2012, el Nacional de Literatura José Fuentes Mares 2018, el Nacional de Cuento Beatriz Espejo 2003 y el Nacional de Cuento de la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán 2004. También recibió una mención de honor en el Certamen Nacional de Cuento San Luis Potosí 2008.
     
Es autor de los libros de relatos Los mártires del Freeway y otras historias (Ficticia 2006 y 2008), Caída libre (Ficticia 2010), Montezuma´s Revenge y otros deleites (Ficticia 2014), De la vasta piel. Antología personal (Ficticia 2017), Toda felicidad nos cuesta muertos (Lectorum 2020) y El reino de la desesperanza (Lectorum 2024), así como de los volúmenes de crónicas Viaje al centro de las letras (Ficticia 2018) y Cocina yucateca. Crónicas de infancia y recetas de mi madre (Ficticia 2024) y de la novela La muerte del Ruiseñor (Ediciones B 2017).

Actualmente imparte talleres de narrativa y colabora en los suplementos culturales Laberinto, de Milenio Diario y Confabulario, de El Universal. Cuentos suyos han sido incluidos en una veintena de antologías nacionales y extranjeras. Pertenece al Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte.
 

Gallo Molina

(Mérida, 1991) 

Es escritor, copywriter y guionista. Estudió comunicación social en la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán. Ha escrito para shows de comedia en HBO y NBC, además de colaborar como analista en Paramount.

I have lived in three cities, nine homes and some houses. I've fallen in love once. I've run down from a burning train and I've seen a bomb explode. I don't believe in things that last forever. Or yes, I don't know. Strawberries, with condensed milk. Every now and then I need to move things around, whether it's furniture, people or my whole life. If I don't travel, I can't breathe. I start wanting too fast and I stop wanting too slow. I can't remember the last time I fell asleep early. I measure time in half beers, and I don't make plans for more than half a beer. I cry at demonstrations when I hear Labordeta. I need you close, but not on top. I always go with the weakest. I can't imagine a world without cheese or chocolate. It's almost always better to give than to receive, and I'm not talking about sex; not just sex. The queen of my house is a lame cat that won't stop purring. Empathy should move the world, not just mine.

Alba Muñoz

Journalist and writer. She has worked as an independent reporter in various parts of the world, most notably the Balkans, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. From 2018 to 2019, she lived in South Africa, where she contributed to El País and 5W. For five years, she was a writer and editor at the online magazine PlayGround, specialising in digital journalism and feminism. She has also written for the BBC, El Mundo, ElDiario.es and other media. Her first documentary, Now You Are a Woman, won the Audience Award at the FIRE!! festival in 2019. Between May and June 2023, she took part in the Finestres literary residency. She currently works in communications and as a scriptwriter for audiovisual projects.

Enzo Maqueira

(Buenos Aires, 1977) 

Es autor del libro de crónicas Historias de putas (2008) y de las novelas Ruda macho (2010), El impostor (2011), Electrónica (2014), Hágase usted mismo (2018, finalista del Premio Silverio Cañada de la Semana Negra de Gijón, y Premio municipal Ricardo Rojas de la ciudad de Buenos Aires) e Higiene sexual del soltero (2023). Fue traducido al inglés, portugués, italiano y francés. Es graduado en comunicación social, docente universitario y colabora con diversos medios gráficos y digitales, como las revistas Anfibia, Vice y Viva, y el diario Clarín. Además, conduce el programa Narraciones extraordinarias, por radio Provincia. Es miembro fundador de la Unión de Escritoras y Escritores, asociación civil que brega por los derechos laborales de los autores.
