She has worked at Televisió de Catalunya’s news service since the age of 21, primarily as a cultural correspondent for Telenotícies, and is now editor-in-chief. In 2016 she published Argelagues, which became a literary phenomenon. Four years later, her novel Ca la Wenling (Wenling’s) cemented her standing with readers. With Les nostres mares (Our Mothers), she won the 62nd Sant Jordi Prize for Fiction. Her work has been translated into English, Spanish, French and Italian.

Begoña Gómez Urzaiz

She writes regularly for La Vanguardia, co-hosts the podcast Amiga, date cuenta on Radio Primavera Sound and is a regular contributor to the programme Vostè primer on RAC1. Her bylines have appeared in publications such as El País, Vogue and Vanity Fair, and she has taught in the Master’s in Literary Journalism at the UAB. She edited and wrote the foreword to the collectively authored volume Neorrancios. Contra los peligros de la nostalgia (Neorrancios. On the Dangers of Nostalgia). The Abandoners: Of Mothers and Monsters is her first book. It has been translated into English, French, German, Portuguese and Polish and was published by Borough Press in the UK and Ireland, Norton in the US, Aufbau Verlag in Germany, Zahar in Brazil, Karakter in Poland and Stock in France.

Elisenda Solsona
Invitado de HonorElisenda Solsona (Olesa de Montserrat, 1984) is a writer and secondary school teacher. She holds undergraduate degrees in humanities, from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), and audiovisual communication, from the University of Barcelona (UB). She also studied for the Master’s in Writing for Television and Cinema at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and has taken several writing courses at the Obrador de la Sala Beckett and the Ateneu Barcelonès School of Writing. She has published Cirurgies (Surgeries) (Voliana Edicions, 2016), Satèl·lits (Satellites) (Males Herbes, 2019) – which won the 2020 Imperdible Prize for Best Fantasy Book in Catalan and the 2020 Ictineu Prize for Best Anthology and Best Short Story in Catalan – and Mammalia (Males Herbes, 2024), which was shortlisted for the 2025 Òmnium Prize for Best Novel in Catalan and won the Ictineu Prize for Best Fantasy Novel in Catalan. She has contributed to the anthology Autòctones (Natives) (Comanegra, 2023) and to The Valancourt Book of World Horror Stories (Valancourt, 2020) with the short story ‘Mechanisms’ (translated by Mara Faye Lethem from ‘Engranatges’, originally published in Satèl·lits).

Adolfo Humberto Ruíz Martín
Nacido en Yurécuaro, Michoacán, y radicado en Guadalajara desde los cinco años, Adolfo es abogado de formación y empresario retirado tras dirigir por más de 48 años una empresa de ropa infantil. Tras su jubilación, se dedicó a la escritura, ha publicado las novelas: La tristeza de Carolina, Una insólita ironía y ¡Tito Cuéntame un cuento! Sus obras reflejan la sensibilidad ante la vida y las emociones humanas. Actualmente continúa escribiendo y presentando sus libros bajo la tutela de la Fundación Sin Miedo a la Vida, demostrando que la pasión no tiene edad.
Blanca Nieves Palacios Barreda
Blanca Nieves Palacios Barreda es trabajadora social y periodista con amplia trayectoria académica y profesional. Ha sido directora y docente en universidades, coordinadora de programas de apoyo familiar y articulista en medios impresos y digitales. Además, produjo y condujo el programa radiofónico Diálogos y comentarios. Su obra literaria incluye poemarios, novelas, ensayos y cuentos, abordando temas sociales, políticos y humanos, como en Gama de sentimientos y La ira del carnicero. Comprometida con la sociedad y la cultura, Blanca Nieves combina conocimiento, experiencia y sensibilidad para transmitir valores, reflexiones y vivencias a través de la escritura.
Eleazar Martínez Servín
Originario de San Luis Potosí y con 70 años, Eleazar es facilitador, conferencista y tallerista en temas de violencia masculina y de género. Amante de la natación, la música y la naturaleza, promueve la actividad física como fuente de salud y bienestar. Su libro El abuelo, un atleta inquebrantable narra su trayectoria deportiva y reflexiona sobre los beneficios del ejercicio sin importar la edad. Con entusiasmo y cercanía, Eleazar inspira a mantenerse activos, disfrutar la vida con plenitud y demostrar que la vitalidad y la alegría de vivir pueden renovarse cada día.
Emma Ruiz
Emma Ruíz y Ricardo Romo, profesores jubilados de la Universidad de Guadalajara, investigaron la soledad y la soltería en jóvenes del siglo XXI. Emma realizó entrevistas a profundidad sobre experiencias de relación, y Ricardo aportó un enfoque poético para interpretar los hallazgos. De esta colaboración surgió Años de soledad. Soltería y (des)encuentros en los vaivenes de la vida, obra que explora los desafíos, aprendizajes y resiliencia frente a la soledad. Su trabajo combina investigación y sensibilidad literaria, mostrando cómo la escritura puede ser un puente para comprender la experiencia humana y emocional.
Ricardo Romo
Emma Ruíz y Ricardo Romo, profesores jubilados de la Universidad de Guadalajara, investigaron la soledad y la soltería en jóvenes del siglo XXI. Irma Velázquez
Psicóloga, doctora en ciencias de la salud pública y especialista en gerontología, Irma ha ocupado puestos directivos en salud y universidades, con 17 años en el Sistema Nacional de Investigadores. Es autora de cinco libros, 27 capítulos y 43 artículos científicos. Publicó las obras: Lunes de reflexión, Los ángeles olvidados y Dejando huella, que le valió el Premio Plenitud 2023. Irma disfruta la jubilación escribiendo y compartiendo su experiencia, transmitiendo aprendizajes y dejando una huella inspiradora en la literatura y la vida.
José Luis Lara Martínez
Nació en Guadalajara y con 65 años, José Luis es ingeniero topógrafo, esposo y abuelo de dos nietos. Desde joven mostró interés por la escritura, pero fue gracias a la motivación de sus hijas que comenzó a narrar experiencias de vida. Su primer libro, El juglar, marcó el inicio de su trayectoria literaria, que hoy incluye cinco obras difundidas en América, Europa y Medio Oriente. Ha recibido premios internacionales, participado en eventos de Unesco y continúa compartiendo su pasión por la escritura y la narrativa.
Noris Binet
Nacida en República Dominicana, es artista visual, escritora, poeta, terapeuta psicoespiritual y activista ambiental. Vivió en México de 1976 a 1989 y en Estados Unidos hasta 2017, antes de regresar a México, residiendo en Ajijic. Ha publicado libros como Black and White Women—Building a Bridge—500 Years in the Land of the Native American, así como poesía y ensayos en antologías internacionales y revistas especializadas. Colaboró en periódicos bilingües y medios digitales educativos. Su obra combina sensibilidad artística, compromiso social y espiritualidad, mostrando la escritura como puente entre culturas y generaciones.
Teresa de Jesús González García
Ingeniera arquitecta egresada de UNIVA, Teresa cuenta con más de 30 años de trayectoria profesional como perito valuador y constructora de vivienda. Es socia directora de Dovela 13 SA de CV y PROMOVAL, además de presidenta nacional de la Orden de Colegios de Ingenieros Arquitectos Mexicanos y fundadora del Colegio de Ingenieros Arquitectos de Jalisco. Ha recibido múltiples distinciones, incluyendo la Medalla Ambrosio Ulloa y el título Mujer del Año 2025. Su labor combina liderazgo, compromiso social y profesional, reflejando su pasión por el desarrollo y la excelencia en su área.
Vicky Calvo
Comenzó a escribir a los 80 años, motivada por su amiga y desde entonces ha desarrollado una prolífica labor literaria. Su primera publicación fue La vejez no es sinónimo de invisibilidad, seguida de artículos sobre viajes, historia y medio ambiente. Ha publicado su biografía Mi paseo por la vida y otros libros en Amazon, incluyendo Y tú… qué sabes sobre el Camino de Santiago y Desafíos del calentamiento global. Hoy, a sus 84 años, continúa buscando historias y temas que inspiren, demostrando que la creatividad y la pasión por escribir no tienen edad.
Victoria Eugenia Martínez Santibáñez
Originaria de Oaxaca y radicada en Morelia, Michoacán, ha cultivado la música, la pintura y la literatura. Su formación artística incluye coros, cursos de historia del arte, talleres de creación literaria y pintura. Comprometida con valores como el amor a la familia, la naturaleza y la humanidad, decidió transmitirlos mediante la escritura. Publicó su primer libro infantil, Un cuento para ti, mi pequeño niño, y su segundo, La casa del rancho, buscando inspirar a los lectores a vivir con sensibilidad y ética, mostrando que la literatura es un vehículo de valores universales.
