José Alberto Parra García is a highly regarded expert in digital strategies in Latin America, with over 25 years of experience. His innovative leadership has played a key role in shaping digital business ventures across the region.
Starting his career at Columbia Tri-Star Home Video, José Alberto later transitioned to the world of digital platforms, where his skills in leadership and transformation helped establish the foundations of new businesses in Latin America.
He has been instrumental in launching platforms that have significantly impacted the content industry in the region, including Kindle Store in Spanish, the AppleBooks and Apple Movies categories, and Storyel, the first unlimited audiobook subscription platform in Latin America.
In 2022, he was appointed Director of Digital Strategy for United States and Latin America at Grupo Planeta, a role in which he continues to shape the digital future of the publishing and media industry.
