She worked at the magazine Butxaca for five years, has written for publications such as Ara Llegim, La Llança and La Lectora, and has contributed to several short story anthologies. In 2017 she co-founded the fiction magazine Branca and currently works at Angle Editorial. In 2020 she won the Documenta Prize with Els desperfectes (The Imperfect Ones), a short story collection that also received the City of Barcelona Prize. In summer 2024, the story that gives the book its title was published in The New Yorker. La intrusa (The Intruder) (L’Altra Editorial, 2025) is her first novel.

Regina Rodríguez Sirvent

Regina Rodríguez Sirvent, born in Puigcerdà in 1983, graduated in psychology, but after working in the field for a year realised it wasn’t for her. She moved abroad in search of herself. On her return, she studied screenwriting at ESCAC and took novel-writing courses at the Ateneu Barcelonès. She has published articles, written scripts for TV programmes and presented video reports.
Unlike most début authors, she had never won a literary contest or ‘floral games’ when she published Les calces al sol (Panties in the Sun), her first novel. However, a year later – following its success, with more than 30,000 readers – she won the L’Illa dels Llibres popular vote prize.

Oriol Canosa

Oriol Canosa, born in 1975 in Tarragona, is a children’s writer. He has published more than 30 books for all ages, from early readers to teenagers, and even a couple of things for adults. Children’s fiction is where he feels at home, though. For many years, he worked as a bookseller at various book shops in Barcelona. His best known books include L’illa de Paidonèsia, El bandi i les bessones Mataquín, the Els Robotots series, La vaga de les granotes, Hola, micos! and Els germans Corb. Among his accolades are the 2016 Folch i Torres , 2017 Ala Delta, 2018 Cavall Fort and 2022 Carmesina awards, as well as the 2025 Llibreter Award. On top of that, he contributes to all sorts of magazines for children and young people and gives talks in schools all over Catalonia whenever he can. He has walked across Europe on more than one occasion and wrote about his experiences in La balada del vell món, a book for adults about journeys on foot.
