Emmanuel Peña Martínez

Member of the National System of Creators (2023), he is dedicated to making books, designing and illustrating. He was awarded a scholarship by the French Embassy in 2016 to do a residency at La Maison des Auteurs, in the city of Angoulême, France, where he worked and completed his first graphic novel, entitled Nada aquí, winner of second place in the First Latin American Graphic Novel Contest Latin American Cities. In 2018, his second graphic novel Color de Hormiga arrived in bookstores. He was a fellow of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts in 2018 and 2021, winner of the second call for entries Las otras tintas convened by Alas y Raíces and winner of the first edition of the PANG! award, in Spain.

El Dee

Hello. My name is David Espinosa. Some people know me as El Dee. I am an illustrator and comic book author living in Cholula, Mexico, with my wife Diana and a bunch of dogs. My comics include Yo y la muerte, Nido de Serpientes, and El twit ilustrado. You can see my work on book and magazine covers, posters, t-shirts, and magazines around the world. My next graphic novel was published by Editorial Planeta in 2023 and is called Foráneo, and is available everywhere.
