FIL Guadalajara is the world’s largest display of Spanish-language publications, affording you the opportunity to obtain the best materials for your institution. Editors, distributors, and bookstore owners meet to negotiate and provide the best purchasing conditions for librarians.

Librarians from Latin America and the United States meet in Guadalajara, so you will also find colleagues to share points of view and experiences.

Dates and times of professionals

November 29 and 30, December 1, from 9:00 to 17:00

Registration fee:

  • Until August 31: 650 Mexican pesos
  • From September 1 to November 5: 850 Mexican pesos
  • Only payment: Visa or MasterCard

Upon registration, you will receive:

  • A FIL entry badge for all nine days
  • Publication of your information in the online Professionals Catalog
  • Access to work tables and the services provided at the Business Center for Professionals

In order to make the most of your visit, we suggest:

  1. Register before August 31 to obtain 3 nights accommodation, courtesy of FIL (under availability).
  2. Book your flight in advance and make the most of the discounts offered by some airlines.
  3. Start planning your schedule of events starting September 30 by browsing the various online catalogs.
  4. Register for training programs that interest you
  5. Negotiate discounts and browse the list of publishing houses that have registered for the Librarian Discount Program which will be published during the first week of November.
  6. Use the Buyer’s Warehouse located at the Business Center.
  7. Program shipment of your purchases. We have courier services located at Door 4. They will store your merchandise until the shipment is organized.

When you arrive at the FIL:

  • Please go to the Preregistration Module located at the International Area entry to receive your badge and your welcome bag (Exhibitors and Professionals Catalog, map of the fair and other information of interest).

If you participated in the 2020 edition, you don’t need to initiate the application process. Simply enter your username and password to update your information and make the payment.
