Guide for Book presentations 2026

 

Days and times


  • November 28th and 29th,  December 3rd, 5th and 6th from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
  • November 30th, December 1st and 2nd from 3:00 PM to 9:00PM.
  • December 4th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

FIL Guadalajara has 21 rooms with capacities ranging from 50 to 700 people.

Process


1

Fulfill the format request online.

  • All requests are subject to the availability of time and space.

Wait for space allocation.

  • From the date your request is received, you will receive email confirmation of the assigned date, time, and room within around fifteen business days.

Once your space is confirmed, you must make the corresponding payment and send the voucher (bank deposit/wire transfer) clearly identified to the email: presentaciones@fil.com.mx

  • Payments must be made no later than two months after confirmation of the space. Presentations not paid within this period will be cancelled.
  • If a payment receipt is required, it is important that you include your tax information along with your payment voucher.
  • The deadline to claim invoices is December 18th, 2026.

Send the following annexes by email:

  • Synopsis of the book and author’s biography in a Word document with a maximum length of 300 words each section and photograph of the author in .jpg format as an attachment in the mail.
  • Files received by August 31st will be published on FIL’s website in the general program.
  • In the case of presenting more than one book per session, please send a synopsis for each one of them.

If the title of the book, author, presenter, or any other information changes, it is important to inform presentaciones@fil.com.mx in writing. The organizing committee will analyze the change and confirm in writing if the change is possible.

If streaming equipment is required, it must be hired and operated by the applicant.

If streaming transmission is required, the applicant must cover the cost and the necessary equipment. If you require this service, you will find more information in the section Contracting Streaming Services.

Coffee breaks or cocktail services are not permitted, nor is the playing or reproduction of music in the presentation rooms.

Benefits


All the requests confirmed and paid by August 31 st, 2026, will receive the following benefits:

  • Publication in the general hand program.
  • Publication in the digital program on the official website of FIL Guadalajara.
  • For each hired and paid session, 3 badges will be assigned. You will receive an email with the date and the place where they can be picked up.

 

Contracting Streaming Services


This year, we will continue to provide dedicated internet and infrastructure for live streaming in Auditorio Juan Rulfo, Salón 4, Salón 6, Salón Enrique González Martínez, Salón 7 and Salón 10.

The rates for this service are as follows:

  • $8,000 MXN per session.
  • $7,000 MXN per session (when contracting more than 5 sessions).

The live broadcast will be available on the official FIL Guadalajara YouTube channel, where it will be hosted. Additionally, the session can be broadcast simultaneously on a social network of your choice.

Once the streaming service has been confirmed, you must provide the audiovisual materials required for the design of the bumpers (publisher´s logo and book cover).

The deadline for contracting the service, completing payment and sending materials is October 30th, 2026.
