Press accreditation application FIL Guadalajara 2024
The Guadalajara International Book Fair is the largest publishing meeting in the world around Spanish-language books, and it is attended every year by an average of three thousand journalists from 20 countries.
Press accreditations are granted by FIL Guadalajara's General Coordination of Press and Diffusion, and are given exclusively to journalists attached to media, to press teams of publishers participating in FIL Guadalajara, and to content creators dedicated to the dissemination of culture and literature.
The press accreditation allows access to the fairgrounds during the nine days of the Fair, the activities carried out in the halls and in the professionals area, the concerts at the FIL Forum, depending on availability, as well as to the Press Room and its services.
FIL Guadalajara will determine the number of accreditations to be granted to each media outlet based on their frequency, their importance (circulation, content and audience), as well as the coverage they have given and intend to give to FIL Guadalajara's activities.
Journalists and content creators who can prove past coverage and constant publication of media content related to the FIL Guadalajara will have priority. In the case of social networks and digital platforms, those that have at least one year of existence with constant publications will be accredited.
To collect press accreditation, it is essential to present a valid press credential from the accrediting media, signed by its editor or director. In the case of content creators, they must verify the ownership of the social network or belong to its work team.
Accreditation will only be granted to press teams of publishers that have activities scheduled in the halls of FIL Guadalajara.

Social Communication
Only three representatives of social communication of the agencies attending to cover their activities at FIL Guadalajara will be accredited: journalist, cameraman or photographer, and assistant.
Press Room Services
The Press Room of the FIL Guadalajara offers spaces for laptops with wired broadband Internet and a wireless internet network (Wi-Fi) for those who have a network card. It also provides the service of coffee break throughout the day, at no cost to accredited journalists.
The press releases generated by FIL Guadalajara's General Press and Broadcast Coordination, as well as information on publishers, academic and professional events, will be available only in digital format on the screens in the press room and on the FIL website. Printed releases will not be accepted for distribution.
