Biography

Coral Bracho is one of the most outstanding voices in contemporary Mexican poetry. She has been a member of Mexico’s National System of Art Creators and a Guggenheim Fellow. Her work has received numerous awards, including the Xavier Villaurrutia Prize, the Aguascalientes National Poetry Prize, and the Víctor Sandoval Latin World Poetry Prize. Her books have been translated into several languages and published in countries such as the United States, France, Italy, China, and Ireland. She has also worked as a literary translator and collaborated on interdisciplinary projects with leading visual artists.
