Latin America Viva

Since its creation in 2012, the Guadalajara International Book Fair has strengthened its commitment to promoting Latin American literature through Latin America Viva, a program conceived as a platform to showcase the diversity of voices that shape the continent’s literary landscape.

The program emerged from the success of The 25 Best Kept Literary Secrets of Latin America, an initiative that revealed the interest of both readers and publishing professionals in discovering new literary proposals from the region.

Featuring established and emerging writers from across Latin America, Latin America Viva brings together representatives of the region’s contemporary literature with the purpose of reaching new readers and strengthening the presence of Latin American writing in the international publishing world.
