One Thousand Young People with…

These sessions bring together a vast audience formed mostly by young high school students, that meet with distinguished writers to dialogue, discuss, share and enjoy their experiences and readings together.

Carlos Fuentes was in charge of inaugurating this space in 1997, in front of a crowded auditorium, where the attendees ended up sitting on the carpets or standing, leaning on the walls of the living room. That same year, the tradition of reuniting young people with the winner of the now FIL Prize for Literature was also established.
