FIL Science

One of the strategic goals of the Guadalajara International Book Fair was to integrate science into its programming. Through scientific outreach, the program seeks to build a sustained audience interested in the exact and natural sciences, and to demonstrate that science also offers compelling stories for all readers.

Through this initiative, the Fair offers innovative content to those who attend and strengthens its ties with the University of Guadalajara, as well as with other educational institutions and research centers across the country. The objective is for science not to be perceived as a complement, but as an essential part of the Fair’s overall program.
