World Book Day

The World Book Day is a celebration created in 1995 by arrangement and agreement of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Since 2002 the Guadalajara International Book Fair has celebrated this day with a public reading in a celebration that has involved more than 220 venues in different municipalities of Jalisco and other states of Mexico, as well as the voices of tens of thousands of enthusiastic readers.
