International Storytellers Conference

Through the International Storytellers Conference, the Guadalajara International Book Fair seeks to highlight the relevance of the short story within the contemporary literary landscape. The program offers a broad perspective on current short fiction and provides a space for dialogue between those who write and those who publish works of narrative prose.

The participation of prominent figures from the field of short fiction, together with the commitment of those who promote the reading of stories, has consolidated this conference as one of the most important forums for reflection and the promotion of the short story in the Spanish-speaking world.

The International Storytellers Conference reaffirms the value of the short story as an essential literary form, capable of renewing itself while maintaining its central role in the development of modern narrative.
