"La Catrina" Cartoon Prize

Since its first broadcast in 2002, the International Conference of Caricature and Comics has distinguished important characters from the world of caricature and comics. "La Catrina," a bronze sculpture that reproduces a drawing by Sergio Aragonés (a free version of the famous Catrina originally created by José Guadalupe Posada), is the recognition given to the honoree.
